How to correctly arrange the honing tube and its characteristics after processing
Honing pipe is a kind of seamless steel pipe that is made of seamless steel pipe to manufacture mechanical structures or hydraulic equipment. The steel pipe is cold drawn or cold rolled. Since its inner and outer walls have no oxide layer, can withstand high pressure without leakage, have high smoothness, and have no deformation during cold bending, expansion, or flattening without cracks, it is mainly used to produce pneumatic or hydraulic products.
Its laying arrangement and direction should be uniform and clear-cut. Try to use horizontal or vertical pipe layout. The non-parallelism of horizontal pipes should be ≤2/1000; the non-verticality of vertical pipes should be ≤2/400. Check with a level. For longer pipes, measures should be taken to avoid stresses caused by temperature changes causing the pipe to expand and contract.
Those with a diameter of 50mm or more should generally be cut by mechanical processing. If gas cutting is used, mechanical processing methods must be used to remove the structural changes caused by gas cutting, and the welding grooves can also be machined. Except for the oil return pipe, pressure-controlled pipes are not allowed to be cut with a roller-type extrusion cutter. The cutting surface must be smooth and burrs, scale, slag, etc. must be removed.
Welding rods and flux should be dried according to the product instructions before use, and should be kept dry during use and used on the same day. The welding rod coating should be free of peeling and cracks.
The processing precision is high, mainly for some small and medium-sized light through holes, whose cylindricity can be within 0.001mm. The roundness of some parts with uneven wall thickness can reach 0.002mm. For large holes, the roundness can also reach 0.005mm, and honing has higher processing accuracy than grinding.
