Introducing the production characteristics of high-precision cold drawn tubes

High-precision cold-drawn pipe is a type of steel pipe, that is, it is classified according to different production processes, which is different from hot-rolled (expanded) pipe. It is processed through multiple passes of cold drawing during the diameter expansion process of the raw tube blank or raw material pipe, usually on a 0.5 to 100T single-chain or double-chain cold drawing machine.
In addition to general steel pipes, low- and medium-pressure boiler steel pipes, high-pressure boiler steel pipes, alloy steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, petroleum cracking pipes, machined pipes, thick-walled pipes, small-diameter cold-drawn pipes with internal molds and other steel pipes, high-precision cold-drawn pipes also include carbon thin-walled steel pipes, alloy thin-walled steel pipes, stainless thin-walled steel pipes, and special-shaped steel pipes.
  High precision cold drawn tubeThe outer diameter can reach 6mm, the wall thickness can reach 0.25mm, and the outer diameter of thin-walled pipe can reach 5mm. The wall thickness is less than 0.25mm. The accuracy and surface quality are higher than those of hot-rolled (expanded) pipes. However, due to process constraints, its caliber and length are limited. 1. High production efficiency: It takes 154 hours to produce a cylinder with an inner diameter of 420 mm and a length of 12 meters using the traditional method, but only 4 minutes using the cold drawing method.
2. High pass rate: Since the boring rolling head also serves as a guide, during the cutting process, the blank tube deflects due to its own weight, causing the rolling head and boring tool to deviate, resulting in scrap. The pass rate can only reach about 60%, but when produced using the cold drawing method, the pass rate can reach 95%.
